good god i am listening to the same thing right now and i'm nearly ripping out my ear drums I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE there is no volume of music that will drown out this sound :(

those are frogs silly, a kookaburra would only be in your woods if you had an old gum tree.

yea, okay. they really are baby frogs. they are called peepers. they will become less loud as the spring turns to summer. but i wish i had a kookaburra living in my backyard, that and a gum tree.

I heard the same sound a few nights ago, so I got a flashlight and went investigating.
Sure enough it was frogs, ahha.

It's they're mating call. ;D
I walked in on two of them.
